A physics simulation of a Galton Board, also known as a bean machine or quincunx.
The device was invented by Sir Francis Galton to demonstrate the central limit theorem, in particular that the normal distribution is approximate to the binomial distribution.
On Wednesday 30th January 2013 Plant Pot attended the the "BETT 2013 StoneHack Challenge" to make educational apps.
The amazing Johnny Ball suggested we make a Galton board. We thought it was a brilliant idea so here is it!
